Tom Wilkin

Tom is an Associate in the Dispute Resolution team. He is experienced in advising businesses and individuals across various sectors, on matters such as shareholder disputes, breach of contract claims and financial services disputes.

Tom has experience in all aspects of the civil litigation process, and regularly guides the firm’s clients through claims commenced in the High Court and County Court, from the pre-action stage up to trial. Tom is adept at advising on litigation strategy and tactics but prides himself on always trying to achieve the best commercial outcome for his clients, taking a pragmatic approach to settlement and risk from the outset of cases.

As well as dealing with disputes, Tom regularly advises clients on pre-litigation issues such as contract termination, with the aim of assisting them to mitigate potential risks before disputes arise.

Prior to joining Foot Anstey, Tom completed his training with a firm in the City of London.

• Tom studied Law LLB at the University of Exeter, receiving a 2:1.
• He then went on to achieve a Distinction in the Legal Practice Course at the University of Law in Bristol.
