Rose is an Associate in our Real Estate Disputes team including Farms, Estates and Rural Land. She works with clients to resolve all manner of property disputes which arise in relation to both rural land and commercial property.

Rose has been at the firm since she was a trainee solicitor and has a particular focus on working with clients in the private wealth, developer and national charities sectors. The work that she undertakes for these clients is varied and includes claims over ownership of land and property rights, landlord and tenant disputes and farming partnership disputes. Rose also has a particular interest in natural capital markets and advising landowners on the host of opportunities and challenges these present.

Rose’s recent experience includes:

  • Advising a landowner in taking back possession from an agricultural occupier through contested Court proceedings.
  • Assisting a landed estate to successfully resist an adverse possession claim made by a neighbouring landowner over unregistered land owned by the estate.
  • Acting for a client to reach a settlement to dissolve a farming partnership and ensure a fair distribution of assets.

Outside of work, Rose enjoys horse riding and walking her Jack Russell terrier on Dartmoor.
