Adam is a Legal Director in our Energy, Projects, Infrastructure and Construction (EPIC) Team and specialises in the real estate aspects of the development, sale, acquisition and financing of clean energy and infrastructure projects. He has over eleven years’ experience advising across all major clean energy technologies including wind (onshore and offshore), solar, storage, biomass, anaerobic digestion and nuclear, as well as on large lateral infrastructure projects.
Adam has extensive knowledge of the sector and he is passionate about helping clients find strategic solutions in the drive for ‘net zero’. Recent examples of his experience include advising on the development of only the second groundbased solar DCO project in the UK; advising a solar developer in relation to the development and subsequent disposal of over 30 groundbased solar projects; advising a major utility company in relation to the development of onshore wind projects in Wales; advising on various real estate aspects relating to the development of Hinkley Point C and Sizewell C nuclear power stations; and advising a UK-listed company in connection with the acquisition and development of a large portfolio of battery storage projects.
