Fara Mohammad, a Consultant for Foot Anstey's Islamic Finance team, has been recognised as being amongst the 50 most influential women in Islamic Business and Finance by Islamic Finance Review, the official publication of the Islamic Bankers Association.

Fara, a specialist in Islamic finance, sits alongside the industry's most respected women ranging from CEOs of international banks, lawyers, finance experts and academics/mentors. Fara was not only recognised for her professional expertise but also her contribution to the wider industry and the place that women have within it.  She speaks regularly at high profile events including the recent IFN Europe Forum and is a regular contributor to various journals and magazines.

Fara regularly advises on high value transactions. She has experience in many types of Islamic financial products covering a range of asset types, investment classes and industry sectors. Additionally, she advises entities and individuals particularly those from South East Asia on their business ventures and investments into the UK and Europe. Her energy continues outside the profession with her active participation within several volunteering and mentoring programmes which works with young professionals and young people from deprived communities, to realise their talents and potential.
