Launching our Climate Connections group with Save Our Wild Isles screenings

Our new Climate Connections group has been formed to support the implementation of our sustainability strategy. Its aim is to foster education and coordinate sustainability activities across the firm as well as and hold the firm to account when it comes to delivering our ambitious goals.

Our Connections groups are started, developed and run by our people and contribute to the way we build a connected and inclusive culture at the firm and engage with important issues such as sustainability or inclusion.

The group launched with screenings of three impactful films from the Save Our Wild Isles series. The series, especially created by the WWF, RSPB and the National Trust in collaboration with business groups, highlights the different ways that businesses and individuals can impact and support the environment.

By screening these films, we sparked conversations with colleagues about our impact on environment, nature and biodiversity and our ability to have a positive influence in our personal and professional lives. It was a great way to bring our people together and think about how we can become more sustainable, as a business and as individuals.

About the launch of the Climate Connections, Sophie Jacobs, Associate and co-lead of the group, said: “For me, sustainability is important both professionally as a planning and environmental lawyer, and personally in the day-to-day choices I make. Our firm and our people are already doing so much in this space, and I cannot wait to collaborate with others through the group to enhance our impact on the environment as a truly responsible business.”

We look forward to sharing more about what our Climate Connections get up to, and the part they're playing as we work towards our sustainability ambitions.
