Foot Anstey Managing Associate to promote more accessible opportunities as new Vice President of CILEX

Yanthe Richardson, Managing Associate in Foot Anstey's New Homes and Plot Sales team, has been announced as the Vice President of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (CILEX).

CILEX is the professional and regulatory body for Chartered Legal Executives and CILEX Lawyers, Paralegals and other legal practitioners. Its vision is to create more accessible opportunities to build careers in the legal profession.

As Vice President, Yanthe will continue her work to date as a non-executive director for CILEX to champion the qualification route for upcoming lawyers. In July 2024, Yanthe will take over as President of CILEX. 

Yanthe said: "CILEX is a global leader and innovator within the legal sector. It is at a pivotal point in its long history, with parity and efficient and effective regulation top of the agenda for our members. I am honoured to take on this role during an important strategic period for an organisation that provides opportunities without barriers."
