Foot Anstey has announced the appointment of Bola Gibson to direct and advance the firm’s sustainability and responsible business initiatives.
This follows the announcement of the firm's ambitious four-year growth strategy set out in May 2023 where Responsible Business is a core strategic priority. This significant hire for the firm demonstrates their commitment to making meaningful change with a focus on clients, their people, the environment, and local communities.
Bola boasts an impressive track record of leading corporate social responsibility, inclusion, and sustainability at Osborne Clarke for the last three years following time at TSB Bank and Lloyds Banking Group. She has masterfully crafted and implemented strategies that ignite organisational transformation, fuel employee engagement, and deliver successful business results.
Martin Hirst, Managing Partner, said: “We want to ensure that responsible business and sustainability is integrated into the services we provide to our clients, our daily operations and our supply chain. Bola’s appointment is central to making that ambition come alive. Bola has a first-rate reputation in the legal sector and beyond for driving the responsible business agenda and I am sure her appointment will benefit our business and the work that we do on behalf of our clients.”
Bola added: “I’m excited to be joining Foot Anstey and to have been given the opportunity to help drive the business forward. Bringing my passions for sustainability and corporate social responsibility to a progressive and innovative firm will be hugely rewarding, and I look forward to getting started.”
