Foot Anstey advises Quilam Capital on £70m Newable Commerce deal

Established in 2017, Quilam Capital is a well-known investor specialising in the speciality and alternative finance sector. Quilam supports its portfolio companies in accelerating business growth through the provision of flexible growth capital solutions and strategical management support to maximise value and realise ambition.

Quilam Capital's investment in Newable Commerce is part of a £70m funding package alongside Shawbrook Bank and Hampshire Trust Bank. This funding will aid Newable Commerce in expanding and deploying its suite of export finance focused SME lending products to support UK SMEs with their export ambitions.

Newable Commerce, headquartered in London, is a specialist SME lender focusing on export finance, offering a range of financial products and lending facilities; giving clients the means to improve cashflow and expand business operations.

The Foot Anstey team included Matthew Stoate (Head of Corporate and Private Equity), Dominic Cromwell (Principal Director), and Benjamin Smith (Associate).
