National law firm Foot Anstey has advised Agilio Software, the UK's leading healthcare operations technology provider, on its acquisition of The Fresh.

The Fresh is a prominent digital marketing, CRM software and lead generation company renowned for its robust reputation in the UK dental market.

This move combines Agilio's innovative healthcare technology with The Fresh's marketing prowess and the advanced Leadflo Dental CRM system.

Agilio is a valued and longtime client of the firm, and this transaction is the eighth the Foot Anstey team has advised on. Most recently, the team advised Agilio on its acquisition of pharmacy e-learning business, Mediapharm.

The Foot Anstey team was formed of Principal Director Emma Clayton, Associates Ben Smith, Kirsty Poulton and Joe Bryon-Edmond and Trainee Solicitor Tom Bradley.

This acquisition highlights Agilio’s ambitious plans for sector and international growth, following investment by leading global private equity firms Five Arrows, the alternative assets arm of Rothschild & Co, and TA Associates. Agilio’s focus is to save time in healthcare by digitising critical operational functions.

Emma Clayton, Principal Director at Foot Anstey, said: "We're really proud of our long-standing relationship with Agilio and it was a pleasure to support on this latest step in their journey."

Neil Laycock, Chief Executive Officer of Agilio, said: "The acquisition of The Fresh is a significant milestone for us. Our partnership with Foot Anstey has been instrumental in helping us secure a successful outcome."
