Career & Experience

Hannah is a senior associate in the Commercial, Data and Technology team at Foot Anstey. She advises on a broad range of matters relating to commercial, IP, retail and consumer and data protection law, as well as technology and advertising.

Hannah joined Foot Anstey in 2023 having spent three years as part of the in-house legal team at British luxury fashion house, Burberry, and six years at a city firm before that. She has a broad range of experience advising clients on compliance with the UK and EU GDPR and related legislation. She has advised clients on a variety of privacy-related issues, ranging from general data protection compliance “audits”, marketing-related queries, the roll-out of new technology solutions and data breaches.

Hannah has also advised on data-related disputes, and large-scale, complex subject access requests, as well as complex data sharing arrangements (often with an international focus).

Given Hannah’s in-house experience, and having advised a range of clients in the technology, retail and financial services sectors, she is experienced in taking a pragmatic, commercial approach to her legal practice.
