You will be aligned to our rapidly growing and innovative Commercial Disputes team, led by Jonathan Grigg. You can expect plenty of opportunity to develop your skill set and to be involved in some interesting and challenging work. You will be working closely with our Lawyers providing administrative support to ensure the smooth and efficient running of their workload to meet all set requirements and timescales.

If you are self-motivated, energetic, possessing high levels of personal organisation skills and are looking for an admin opportunity in a corporate but friendly business setting, then this is the role for you.

What you will do

  • File management tasks to ensure full compliance with practices including, Lexcel, Code of Conduct, Anti-Money Laundering and Foot Anstey procedures.
  • Respond to queries from clients and other stakeholders on behalf of your fee earners, ensuring excellent and clear communication at all times.
  • Managing routine client telephone enquiries, to ensure all required information and details are obtained to comply with file opening requirements.
  • Ad hoc administration duties such as filing, scanning and photocopying for the team.
  • Diary and meeting management tasks.

What we need

  • Prior experience working within an administrative function. 
  • Excellent communicator (written and verbally) and attention to detail.
  • Good administration skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
  • Strong IT skills with the ability to become familiar with new systems quickly.
  • Ability to collaborate and work effectively with other colleagues internally, both within the wider team and across all practice areas.
